What We Do

Put simply, we care. When you reach out to us, our priority is to listen—understanding your needs and how we can support you. We believe that truly outstanding care begins with knowing each resident as an individual.

We recognise the importance of personalised service, privacy, and creating a warm, welcoming environment that feels like home.

At Farway Grange, we provide the highest standards of nursing care and personal attention while preserving the homely atmosphere that is so essential for our residents and their families. Our approach ensures dignity, comfort, and a high quality of life for every individual.

We offer a safe and supportive home with professional care that is always present but never intrusive. Our holistic nursing approach adapts to each resident’s circumstances, ensuring they receive the care they need in a way that suits them best.

Every resident’s journey with us begins with a thorough assessment, allowing us to tailor a person-centred care plan that reflects their needs, preferences, and wishes. We work closely with families and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, compassionate care—whether for long-term residency, respite stays, or day care.

From a warm smile at breakfast to fluffing your pillows at night, our friendly team is always on hand to offer both personal and emotional support, making every day as comfortable and fulfilling as possible.

Location

We are located in the quiet, leafy residential neighbourhood of Queens Park, a Green Flag winning park in the heart of Bournemouth.

Bournemouth has long been associated with health and leisure, with afluent holiday-makers and visitors nursing chest complaints seeking the fresh sea air and fragrant pines, first arriving in droves in the mid-19th century. Since then, the town's council has taken great care to make Bournemouth a destination not only for visitors, but for businesses, students, families looking to make a home, and those wishing to retire to a slower pace of life. This combination of fresh air, beauty, infrastructure, and slower pace adds up to a highly desirable quality of life, making Bournemouth a hotspot for retirement homes, rest homes and nursing homes.

Farway Grange Nursing Home has been an independent Bournemouth care home since 1986, providing trusted nursing care, palliative care and respite care to the Bournemouth and Dorset area.
