About Us
Providing care and peace of mind
Amrial Care is an independent, family-owned care home operator providing dignified nursing and residential care for our residents and peace of mind to families. We believe care is all about people and treating each other well, which is why we strive to maintain our core values of Compassion and Decency in everything we do.
Welcome from the Directors
Farway Grange has been serving the community since before our family were passed the baton in 1986. Retaining the core values that helped earn the reputation it enjoys today, we are proud to continue this increasingly vital service under our new banner of Amrial Care.

Much has changed over the years but our fundamental care needs haven’t, and a care home is still only
as good as its carers.

We are hugely grateful to work with such a spirited, conscientious and dedicated team. Through value-based recruitment and leading by example, our management have established a happy and caring culture providing the highest levels of nursing care and personal attention whilst retaining that elusive, homely environment that is so important to our residents and their relatives in maintaining the quality of life and dignity they deserve.
A care home is only as good as its carers, and we can’t wait for you to meet ours.

Alam Nathoo and Riaz Nathoo – Directors

Our Story
Our family has been dedicated to providing care since 1986, when Sadruddin (Sadru) and Kathryn (Kate) Nathoo took ownership of Farway Grange Rest Home at 33 Howard Road. They moved into the house next door with their three children—Amin, Riaz, and Alam—unaware that this home would later become an extension of the main building, offering additional accommodation and facilities for residents.

Building on the success of Farway Grange, in 1990 Sadru and Kate took the opportunity to expand their commitment to care by assuming operation of The Alexandra, a nursing home just a few doors away at 23 Howard Road. As with Farway Grange, growing demand for quality care led to a major extension of The Alexandra in the mid-1990s.

In late 2015, Sadru suffered a severe stroke that left him requiring full-time nursing care at Farway Grange. With Kate retired, their children paused their own careers to support both their father and the family business. Spending time in the homes—visiting their dad and managing operations—they were deeply moved by the kindness and dedication of the carers. Experiencing first-hand the peace of mind provided which their parents had long understood, they came to fully appreciate the invaluable role of residential care.

After Sadru’s passing in 2018, the family’s commitment to providing compassionate, dignified care continues under the name Amrial—a tribute using the first names of his three sons.
Our Pledge
We endeavour to provide the highest levels of care and companionship with a focus on safety,
dignity and wellbeing.

Our team know the importance of really getting to know all of our residents, which we believe is invaluable in creating the home’s positive friendly culture and feeling of extended family.

Being of a more traditional, homely size and aided by digital care systems, our team are able to spend more time where they want to be – by the side of our residents.
Compassion
Compassion is when you relate to someone’s situation and want to help. It is the bedrock of kindness.
Decency
Decency is about treating other people with respect, honesty, thoughtfulness, and consideration; behaving in a way that shows that you care about other people and their feelings. It creates a positive trusting environment where people feel comfortable.
Development
Making things better, nurturing others and striving for continuous improvement in everything we do.
