Our commitment to safety

It is an understatement to say that Covid-19 has taken its toll on all of us. We are immensely proud of how all of the Amrial team have pulled together throughout these challenging times to go above and beyond to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our residents.

In addition to introducing testing and vaccination status checks, we have enabled virtual visits with computer tablets available for all residents to video call with friends and family, as well as creating a dedicated area to facilitate visitor testing.

We have implemented robust infection control measures in line with Government and Public Health England advice to ensure the safety of everyone who lives and works within our homes. These measures include:

• Wearing PPE

• Regular testing and temperature checking

• Social distancing

• Enhanced cleaning

• COVID-19 training

 

We are pleased to report that NHS healthcare professionals are now vaccinating residents and team members. 

 

We are keeping residents and relatives updated with our progress as the Covid-19 booster vaccination rollout programme is underway. 

 

We are in regular contact with the local authorities and GP surgeries for updates and are working closely with them to ensure everyone has the opportunity to be vaccinated safely and as soon as possible. 

 

With booster doses of the vaccine being needed for immunisation to be fully effective against the Omicron variant, we do not expect to make changes to the measures in place at our homes until after the latest wave of infections has passed.
